About Us

The ABL is not just a professional sports league; it’s a revolution in the making. We are transforming the way fans experience the game of basketball by reimagining the traditional model and bringing a new level of excitement to the court.

We understand that fans are hungry for more than just entertainment; they want to be a part of something bigger, something more meaningful. That’s why we’re giving them an unmatched opportunity to witness the renewal of the biggest rivalries in college basketball and get an inside look at their favorite player’s journey from college to professional.

At the ABL, we’re putting the power back into the player’s hands like never before. We are the first league comprised entirely of former college players organized into alumni teams. Our players are not just athletes; they are the owners, executives, talent, and ambassadors in control of the league’s collective success. They are the heart and soul of our organization, and we empower them to make decisions that drive the league forward.

Our vision is bold, and we’re inviting everyone to join the movement. We believe in the power of collaboration, and we’re committed to building a community that shares our passion for the game. With the ABL, fans can expect an unparalleled level of excitement, engagement, and innovation. The future of basketball is here, and we’re leading the way.

Kareem Rush

Kareem, the creator and founding partner of the ABL, comes from deep basketball roots. The middle brother of Kansas City’s 1st family of basketball, Big 12 Co-Freshman of the year, 2-time 1st team All Big 12, University of Missouri’s Men’s basketball player of the decade (2000-2010) and NBA 1st round pick in 2002 (L.A. He is also an R&B recording artist and entrepreneur with a long track record of community activism.  His charitable work in the areas of anti-bullying, youth sports, and healthy living has focused on underserved communities and culminated in two major altruistic endeavors: commitment to the healthy psychosocial development of young athletes and to the long-term financial viability of retire pro athletes thru the ABL Legacy Foundation.
